The Emotional Intelligence (E. I) module is designed to instruct people on emotional intelligence or an individual’s capacity to deal effectively with both their own and other people’s emotional needs. historically companies have focused on a candidate's intelligence or (I.Q level). However in recent times there has been a fundamental shift away from simple I.Q focus to E.I. because countess amounts of research has clearly shown that individuals with high levels of E. I am much more likely to both succeed in their own roles and get along with other individuals in their work environment. Individuals with high levels of personal E.I are therefore more attractive to potential employers.Course Objectives:
- Define Emotional Intelligence and the role that it plays in group dynamics
- Identify the various aspects of emotional intelligence
- Explore the consequences of low levels of E.I in a group setting
- Understand ways of improving an individuals emotional intelligence
